I decided to make up some of my basil lemonade to prove that I mean business… It’s lemony and sweet-tart with the refreshing flavor of fresh basil. If you’re officially done with winter too… You’ll need: ~Basil Infused Lemonade~ Juice of 5 large lemons 1/2 cup sugar 1 quart water fresh basil Muddle the fresh basil in 4 lowball glasses. Add ice if you like. Combine lemon juice and sugar until sugar is dissolved. Add the water and adjust sweetness and strength of lemonade to your liking. Pour over the muddled basil. What I came up with is going to knock your nutcracker socks off….ready? ~Nutcracker Suite Martini~ In a cocktail shaker, combine: 1 large handful ice 2 shots Frangelico Hazelnut Liqueur 1 shot heavy cream or half & half place cover on the top of shaker and… shake it like you mean it IMPORTANT! Booker’s Mint Julep serves 6 If you’d like to make this classic summer cocktail, you’ll want to start with… 2 Cups Booker’s Bourbon * 1 bunch fresh mint 1 cup distilled water 1 cup granulated sugar To prepare mint extract, remove about 40 small mint leaves. Wash and place in a small bowl. Cover with 1/4 cup bourbon. Allow the leaves to soak for 15 minutes. Then gather the leaves in paper toweling. Thoroughly wring the mint over the bowl of whisky. Flirtini 2 pieces fresh pineapple 1/2 oz Cointreau® orange liqueur 1/2 oz vodka 1 oz pineapple juice 3 oz pink Champagne dash of cherry juice Muddle the pineapple pieces and cointreau in the bottom of a mixing glass.
